Like the rest of the left-leaning population (you know that about us, that we’re lefty?), we were trying to figure out the best way to commemorate Donald Rumsfeld’s resignation. Then we stumbled across this clip, a lovely rendition of “The Girl From Ipanema” featuring contributions from good ol’ Rummy. Not only does it remind us of some of the things we won’t miss about him, but we also got a good laugh out of the cleverly placed audio. We can safely state that there’s little else that can make our Wednesday better.

Left-leaning? You mean: socialists, tax increasers, porn merchants, bigger government promoters, union members, hollywood idiots, lawyers, illegal aliens, teachers w/ tenure, government employees…..and pretty much everyone who believes we cannot take care of ourselves and need government to decide and provide for us.

Sigh. Conservatives are so upset about spending money on social programs, yet are willing to dump trillions into Iraq until we “liberate” the people there. I’d rather feed the guy down the street.
Don’t be a sore loser.
