Playlist of the Day: Do They Have Meth Mouth and Prostitutes in Heaven?

11/6/06, 8:35 am EST

Ted HaggardWe honestly don’t know where to begin with Rev. Ted Haggard. Should we start with the meth he allegedly bought but didn’t use? What about the male prostitute he supposedly contacted, or the false name he reportedly gave when he called said male prostitute? And then there’s the whole he’s-a-pastor thing. Whichever way you think about this completely disturbing situation, there’s nothing awesome about it. Nothing awesome, that is, aside from the insane number of song titles we can come up with after reading about it. So in honor of Rev. Haggard’s double life and all that he’s allegedly done while living it, we present the following playlist. Add away, loyal blog readers!

“All These Things That I’ve Done” – The Killers
“Down Low Double Life” – R. Kelly
“Some Weird Sin” – Iggy Pop
“Ain’t It Strange” – Drivin’ N’ Cryin’
“Scandal” – Queen

I’m all geared up to score again, loaded, loaded

That’s when I make my moves right

Lovin’ ’til the morning, then I’m gone, I’m gone”…

Wes this fool voted against Gay marriage and is engaging in gay sex–he is a hypocrite and deserves what is coming to him. If two people love each other regardless of their sex they should be able to marry.

Just out of curiosity, why do “social conservatives” have so much faith in their leaders?

Guys like Ted Haggard are taking advantage of you. The whole evangelical movement is the greatest con in history. Flash your pearly whites and say “Jesus” three times fast. Not only will people hand over their wallets, you’re also tax exempt!

No wonder their called “neo-cons”.

tom | 11/7/2006, 8:34 am EST

Not only is Johnny Cash’s ‘Ring Of Fire’ a great song about guilt and helpless passion, it’s also works as a perfect gay sex metaphor.

Is this Jesus man like to touch other mens? with his sweet potato?
This mean he is the gay. So he gets a massaging from other men’s for money…why is bad? The other men’s need a job and he pay them.
This very good in Kazahkstan and we calls them altars boys for the Church. God love every body, unless you do sins, like with animal, then you must be burning with hell.
My best song for this mans is “I am women hear me roaring”…like a big Lion…no?
