Playlist of the Day: Another Way to Justify a Good Red Wine Drunk

11/2/06, 8:00 am EST

We’ve been saying that red wine is the elixir of life for years, but now we have even more reason to consume mass quantities of it! The latest in a growing collection of pro-vino studies says that the chemical reservatol, found only in red wine, has been proven to counteract the health risks of a high-calorie diet! It got us thinking: Let’s make a celebratory playlist! Twinkies and pinot for everyone!

  • “Red, Red Wine,” Neil Diamond
  • “Italian Restaurant,” Billy Joel
  • “Lilac Wine,” Nina Simon
  • “Spill The Wine,” Eric Burdon & WAR
  • “Blood Red Wine,” Rolling Stones
