Madonna’s been really troubled by the controversy surrounding her adoption of David Banda. So troubled she’s considering adopting another baby, a move that’s sure to draw attention away from her and her family? Madonna reportedly told BBC’s Newsnight, “I wouldn’t rule it out . . . but I would like to experience David for a while and see how it works out.” (Are children something you “experience,” like theater or an appendectomy?)

Madonna also apparently confirmed that she’s already gotten little David his first Kabbalah bracelet. “If David decides he wants to be a Christian, then so be it,” she apparently told the Today Show. “I believe in Jesus and I study Kabbalah, so I don’t see why he can’t too.” She also cleared up a major issue in adoptiongate, telling Newsnight that she was willing to support David but leave him at home in Malawi with his father, but Mr. Banda did not take her up on this offer.
