New Act in Madonna Baby-Drama, Mikey Way’s “Parade”-Threatening Depression, Green Day/U2 Vid Peak

10/25/06, 1:39 pm EST

  • After sifting through the pages of quotes available from Madonna’s interview with Oprah (set to air this afternoon) we discovered a few interesting developments, such as Madonna claiming that “there are no adoption laws in Malawi,” that the rules were generally ad hoc and that when she met David “he had survived malaria and tuberculosis, and no one from his extended family had visited him” at the orphanage. But ultimately, we’re just a bit over this drama. It seems, truly, like everyone (including Yohane Banda who is, reportedly, not going to contest the adoption) is trying to act in the best interest of this child, so that’s good enough, yeah?
  • Janet Jackson’s big flop of a comeback album 20 Y.O., has reportedly caused her boyfriend, producer Jermaine Dupri, to be forced out of his job at Virgin Records.
  • Bassist Mikey Way reports that he suffered such a crippling bout of depression during the recording of My Chem’s Welcome to the Black Parade that the band nearly didn’t finish the record, and in fact almost caused the band to break up.
  • Wanna own Dick Clark’s microphone? Now is your chance.
  • Details emerge re: LL Cool J’s upcoming last record ever for Def Jam. It will reportedly be called Todd Smith Pt.2: Back To Cool, will come out March 6th, and will be produced by 50 Cent.
  • Watch a clip from the forthcoming U2/Green Day video for their collaboration cover of “The Saints Are Coming.” It’s all very exciting.

It’s official: the Blues has now been diluted to nothingness by the combined powers of billy joe’s spikey hair and bono’s fairy sunglasses – with edge’s repetative guitar backing adding insult to injury…poop faces.

I love BJA, but it was so corny that he deconstrewed (I think I made up a word) the opening stanza to one of the best songs ever. Still the cover was good, but it doesn’t match The Skids version.

So why does this leave so many people feeing so kind of sick regarding these adoptions?

Madonna is perhaps one of the most typical organised crime type people in radio and mgm movie land you’ll ever see. Her surname is a Greek name taken from the Odessy which is some very old Greek classic about people who never drank water; all they did is eat meat and drink wine. On a diet like that you’d need to be a God.
There are some movies you can now see at the above website which haunt back to something that was almost real. Then of course the organised crime guys took every TV screen in the world and called it 911. See the original plotters location circa 1974. They got the idea by imitating an old Jimmy Hendricks song, not cross town traffic, that other one. When 6 is 9, or something.
