All the book reviewers at Entertainment Weekly, People, Us Weekly etc. can`t wait for the release of Courtney`s new book. I get the feeling CLove will be telling the general public things she would`ve been better off telling a professional therapist who could`ve helped her out,instead of going the public humiliation route once again ,but she did get a million dollar advance for this book from her publisher.

Need I remind you all that Linda Perry and her Non-Blondes were a forgotten joke until Xtina dragged her up. And that “I am Beautiful” song didn’t exactly break new ground.

I hope she gets off the dunking stool with the book. I thought her and Kevin Bacon were excellant villains in that film. I can’t think of too many entertainers I’ve seen with their daughter on an aircraft carrier.

i respect Courtney Love, but don’t ever use her name in the same sentence as Bob Dylan’s unless he’s driving her into battle in Iraq. She’s a tank.

While I’ll never put her in the same room as Dylan, Courtney is a talented artist. Her off-stage antics is what has really tainted her perception by the public. Live Through This and Celebrity Skin were two very, very good albums.

As an old music lover, believe me, I know Bob Dylan and although I was never really into Courtney Love’s music, I must admit that she’s really up there when it comes to lyrics. Her music, I dont know, but her poetry is amazing…

Who is Bob Dylan?

From what I`ve heard so far, Producer Linda Perry & Billy Corgan are doing the bulk of all the songwriting with Courtney just supplying the lyrics. Instead of this being labeled a Courtney solo project, maybe they should call the new CD, Perry, Corgan & Love instead. Probably would sell more copies that way.

yeah courtney definitely is up there..she is underrated as a song writer..she has very really cool and deep lyrics..everyone just disagrees because of her crazy lifestyle!

actually, Tom, most of these songs were written by herself and a guitar during her stint in rehab. What Corgan and Linda are doing is tweaking and perfecting.

Most people commenting on Courtney don’t even know her lyrics. They’re commenting on what they’ve seen on Access Hollywood. It’s a lot harder to take a listen and give her respect for what she’s been through and where she wants to go.

well, since you asked, Courtney is a radical and a musician, but to put her in the same league as either or as an artist is laughable and certainly not fair to her, there is no one like Dylan, he is the greatest of all time, even John Lennon knew and conceded to that and was a student of Dylan, like countless others, and yes Courtney may be a heroine to some, the heroine on heroin?, if you do not know all of Dylan’s music, then study it and him and all the history before you pretend to know anything about him, or why Dylan is so special and great and always will be for eternity, he cannot be defined, and his work transcends time, it is eternal, his influence, impact and importance is incalcuable and cannot be overstated, he is the greatest artist and songwriter of all time, not just the 20th Century, I am a musician and know my song before I start singing it, and I know Bob Dylan, there will never, ever, be another Bob Dylan, we are fortunate that he is still here and that he came along…peace
