If you’re gonna refuse to sell an album it had better be because it looks like this. (Not because some rocker said something mean but true about your prices.) The cover art for Ice-T’s new record, Gangsta Rap — which features Ice being half-straddled by his well-endowed wife — is remarkably raunchy, even for a man who appeared in a film called Frankenpenis. Page Six reports that stores across the country are refusing to stock the album unless measures are taken to obscure the pair’s nasty bits.
A representative for Melee Recordings, reportedly told the Post that the label is “going to have to place stickers over parts of the photo to avoid any problems.” For his part, the rapper is reportedly vaguely amused by the hoopla. “What can I say, I have been doing these kinds of things for years,” he said, adding, “you should see the picture when Coco’s leg is not there.” Coco, just for clarification, would be his stripper wife and Ice-T is referring to his apparently extremely impressive penis. It’s large. He wants you to know that.
