Sometimes, I used to think…shit, I hope they don’t tear that place down…Just think of all that famous DNA left sticking on the bathroom walls…after all these years…I imagined they could someday scrape a sample Debbie Harry–Joey Ramone zygote and grow & nurture it in a petri dish in Maryland so it could one day rise-up a fully formed pale punk and stand on the stage in a black leather jacket and rebel yell to the thrashing barre chord thunder drumming fury and rage against our neo-neo-fascist rulers in Lawrence, Kansas…Now Fuck!
