Listen to the New Eminem Song: “You Don’t Know”

The first single off Eminem’s forthcoming mixtape project, Eminem Presents: The Re-Up, is here. “You Don’t Know” features appearances by Eminem plus 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Cashis and marks the first material we’ve heard from the new record. According to a press release from Shady/Interscope records, the project began as a street mixtape but emerged into something bigger and more polished.

“The material was so good and the tracks were getting produced like a regular album” Eminem explains. “Instead of putting it out there rough and unfinished, I thought we should add some other new tracks, make it a real album, and put it in the record stores to give these new artists a real boost.” Em executive produces the entire record, and appears prominently on this (really catchy) new track. According to rumors, the video for “You Don’t Know” will premier on BET October 17th, which is also Eminem’s birthday. Sentimental rappers are the best.
