With a little help from XXL, we got our mitts on “Show Me What You Got,” the first single from Jay-Z’s post-retirement album, Kingdom Come (due November 21st), which features the same horn and Flavor Flav vocal samples as the DJ track “Show ‘Em What You Got,” from Public Enemy’s It Takes a Nation of Millions to Hold Us Back (oh, and that other hit, “Rump Shaker” by Wreckx-N-Effect). To that, Jay adds some sunny funk and his typically limber lyricism: “I am the Mike Jordan of recordin’/You might want to fall back from the court.” We agree.

Its about time my boy came out of retirement …….I’m sick of all the same stuff. Jigga always mixes it up with some new flavor. This album will be amazing. Also give it up to Justin Timberlake , The Killers , The Game and Timberland who are really doing there thing right now in the music scene.
