Those of you who’ve longed to one day visit an Iranian nuclear plant may soon get your chance. True, you might be fingerprinted before you enter — but whatever, it’s looking like new rules will require an ink pad stop for any American who visits Iran.
What the hell’s going on? State-run television in Iran reported that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants to open the country’s nuclear facilities to foreign tourists so everyone will believe him when he says Iran is not building nukes. Wanna volunteer? You’re crazy. If you insist, here’re the songs on your iPod as you arrive:
“You Can Look But You Better Not Touch” – Bruce Springsteen
“Don’t Worry Baby” – Beach Boys
“Didn’t I Blow Your Mind” – The Delfonics
“Radiation Vibe” – Fountains of Wayne
“I Ran” – Flock of Seagulls
“Atomic Garden” – Bad Religion
“Expect the Worst/Cos’ She’s a Tourist” – The Dears
