- We were maybe a tad jazzed about the idea that we’d have five peaceful years free from the rigors of Chris Martin. Seems that jazz was a little premature. The band’s publicist today clarified that while the band is taking “a much deserved break” they haven’t implemented anything like a five-year hiatus. Sigh.
- Robert Plant has announced plans to reunite his former band the Honeydrippers, whose members include Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. Neither guy has officially signed on, but it’s all to raise money for Plant’s neighbors’ medical expenses, so it would be kinda rude to refuse.
- Busta Rhymes reportedly cancelled a gig in Sydney when the promoters wouldn’t meet his outrageous demands, said to include swank travel and lodging accommodations for his entourage and, you know, lots more money.
