We can only stomach one VMA-like-event a year, but if you’re into that sort of thing check out the upcoming MTV Euro awards, which feature many of the same players as the VMAs, including the RHCP, who lead the race for most nominations (with four) this year.
Gwen Stefani says her follow-up to Love, Angel, Music, Baby should come out before the end of the year, and consists of extra material culled from the LAMB sessions plus the new songs she’s been working on. Prepare for at least one “my baby is the awesomest thing in the world” tracks. Also prepare for this track to actually sound cool.
Eminem’s second divorce from wife Kim Mathers has been sent to a mediator so that the couple can work out the terms with as little drama as possible.
A new music distribution system – Musowire – aside from having an insanely dorky name, should make it a lot easier for smaller, unsigned bands to get their stuff out.
