Quite possibly the greatest music video ever, “Apache” by the Tommy Seebach Band, brilliantly showcases the effects of synth-pop and cowboy suits on your dancing abilities. Is that a marijuana forest they are standing in? (Raise your hand if you have an uncle that looks like the keyboardist.) Appendix: This makes a remarkable companion piece.

He he…Tommy is a pop legend in my home country Denmark. His biggest hit is a funky tune called Disco Tango A La Carte… Brilliant

I have to back up Stefolo’s comment (a fellow Dane and indie musician). Tommy Seebach was a character on the Danish music scene. Unfortunately, he lived by the classic “live fast, die young” credo, therefore we lost him 3 years ago, just 54 years of age. But a true spirit of the Danish music scene. Though most people judge him by his numerous appearances in song contests, it has to be his merits as a keyboard-virtuoso he must be remembered. A lost treasure is his magnificent moog-solo on the track “Smaa Blaa Maend” (Little Blue Man) in 1974.
Tommy, we salute you !!!!
