Beyonce talked to us yesterday about how it feels to be on top with her second solo album. “I’m so happy, happy I can breathe now that it’s finally here,” she said. B-Day came out on the date of — you guessed it — her birthday (she turned 25 this Tuesday), so she celebrated with a pretty swank birthday party at a restaurant with friends in New York. “All of my friends got up for the first time and said things to me that they had never said before. It was really touching and I was just bawling,” she recalled. Next month she goes on tour with an all-woman band: “I’m going on tour with all my females” she said. “Every time I play with them I’m more impressed. It’s so different, especially for R & B music, to have all females playing.” She also told us that she’s already shot the video for her second single “Irreplaceable” in a house in “Bonkers,” by which she meant Yonkers. Little slip-ups like that by famous, rich beautiful people make us feel better about ourselves.
