  • We just don’t understand. How could Being Bobby Brown not have saved their marriage? Whitney Houston files for divorce from Bobby Brown.
  • New Lucinda Williams record planned for … sometime soon, but in the meantime we can tide ourselves over with the October 24th release of a deluxe version of Car Wheels on a Gravel Road. All we need is a rainy day and a bottle of wine and that album and life will be good.
  • Looks like EMI will release George Harrison’s Living in the Material World digitally but not on iTunes.
  • Victory records gets back at their band Hawthorne Heights with a countersuit. We find this story really dull but it won’t go away.
  • The Daily Show will reportedly host “Ten F#@king Years (The Concert)” a charity event with performances by Superchunk, Clem Snide, and The Upper Crust plus appearances by the Daily Show correspondents etc. This all goes down on November 16th at Irving Plaza in New York. [via BrooklynVegan]
