as far as originality is concerned, it’s extremely tough to come up with an original sound nowadays. green day has taken bits and pieces of other great artists and their sounds and combined them with their (green day’s) own particular brand of punk (yeah that’s right punk)! what they’ve come up with is fantastic. American idiot is brilliant. as far as Pussycat dolls, K-fed, and britney spears are concerned, all i can say is that I hope you’re joking.

I shall say this more politely this time: wearing eye liner DOES NOT make you punk. If so, Liza Minelli is the queen of the punks. Punk is an attitude.

Green Day are a good rock n roll band, with good songs and are great live. I don’t care if they are considerd punk or not. Some of the bands that are considered punk don’t get under my skin or make me feel anything like GD’s music does. I could care less if someone is wearing eyeliner or not, that has nothing to do with the music.
