Don’t you hate it when you’re trying to relax on a plane and Bonnie Tyler won’t stop singing “Total Eclipse of The Heart”? Apparently, two years ago (God knows how this news escaped us until now) a retiring Air France pilot asked Tyler to serenade him on his last flight. She obliged by singing her biggest hit, “Total Eclipse Of The Heart.” (Personally, we would have requested “Holding Out For A Hero” – but we respect the man’s choice.) Anyway, the whole plane soon erupted into a giant party. Sounds like the greatest flight in history to us, but a couple of Belgians feared for their lives and have lodged a formal complaint with the airline — which, reportedly, is still unresolved. Who knew Belgians were such sour pusses? Maybe they’re just Kim Carnes fans.
