Foxy Brown has been through a lot in the last few years: there was the hearing loss thing, and the infamous nail salon incident in which Brown allegedly assaulted two manicurists after they gave her a pedicure but charged her for a mani-pedi combo (incompetence: it’s all around us.) On Monday Brown finally pled guilty to the assault charges, but about half an hour after entering her plea, she asked the judge if she could withdraw it, saying she felt rushed. After all, the charges have only been pending since 2004.

Last week Brown was pondering the nerve of those manicurists while retail therapizing at L’Impasse in Greenwich Village, which stayed open an hour past close so the star could browse. When Foxy realized the clerk on duty wasn’t going to offer her any free clothes she reportedly shoved two $400 belts into her bag and walked out of the store. “I was going to just call her and tell her to get those f-ing belts back — but I guess I’m pressing charges,” the store owner told the New York Post.
