Bob Dylan Gets Crazy With the Cheez Whiz, Announces Arena Dates With Raconteurs

8/24/06, 12:27 pm EST

We’re just five days away from the release of Modern Times, and things are popping in Dylan land. Last night the uncharacteristically rigid setlist he’s been playing recently finally got shaken up, as he broke out versions of “Lenny Bruce” and “Cat’s In The Well” – nice to see some love for your Eighties discs, Bob! In even bigger news, his fall arena tour was announced this morning. To help fill seats, the Kings of Leon, the Foo Fighters and the Raconteurs are sharing opening duties. Let’s hope Jack White guests during Dylan’s set like he did in Detroit two years ago. Here’s an MP3 of their take on the White Stripes “Ball and Biscuit” from the momentous occasion.

Maybe, just maybe, you’re wondering how come you’re so privileged as to receive this communiqué. Well, answer is simple, thanks to http://www.google.com and through the search words “blog” and “‘Lenny Bruce’”, I found the u.r.l to your website.

After perusing your website, I conjectured you’d be interested in my post titled, “sweetest nookie”. In this post, you’ll find some notions about how Lenny, were he around today, might comment about the recent kerfuffle in the Middle East.

Anyway, you’ll find the hyperlink to the post just below
