8/24/06, 5:42 pm EST

bloc party
Oy to the vey. Panic! At the Disco will be taking Bloc Party on tour this fall. “We’re really excited to come back to America, especially with Panic! At the Disco,” said Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke. “We hope that our audience and their audience can each discover a great new band.” Why you gotta front like that, Kele? We know you’re feelng just as sad and small and nauseous as us right now. Just remember: you and your lust for fame got us into this mess. Dates after the jump.

i dont know what to beleive in anymore

This is even better. We don’t have to sit through Panic! in order to see Bloc Party; we can jump straight to the good stuff, then leave immediately thereafter. It’ll be amusing to see the place filled with 20-something hipsters and 16 year-olds, then empty out to just the 16 year olds. Of course, there will be that odd hipster who thinks it’s cool to boo Panic… Oh dear that’ll be amusing.

johnny | 9/2/2006, 6:05 pm EST

to tell you the truth, the only problem wiht panic is that they are way too over dramatic. im still waiting for bloc partys new album. if its a bummer and not the super amazing album its supposed to be, i might bottle THEM off stage

This is joke.

Jeff | 9/8/2006, 6:13 pm EST

or a joke, whichever works.

lettie | 9/29/2006, 8:46 pm EST

This is yet another instance where the opening act has more talent than the headliner.
