Madonna has been pissing off religious folks for, um, ever. So as news trickles in about various countries objecting to her blonde-on-the-cross routine, we kinda think “eh, so what?” You know? But this story has gambling involved, so we’re more interested:
BetCris Sportsbook posted odds today on whether or not Madonna will get arrested in Dusseldorf when she plays there on Monday. The German city is just the latest tour stop where police have threatened to arrest the Material Mom if she performs, in particular, her cruxifixion scene. It doesn’t look good for the cops. According to the odds thus far Madonna’s chances of being arrested are 8.5 to 1 and her chances of not being are 1 to 50. BetCRIS.com CEO Mickey Richardson puts it more bluntly: “The day she gets arrested for her performance is the day pigs fly … let’s be honest the only place German police will be handcuffing her is in their dreams, and it won’t be for an arrest.”
