If you are one of those people that buys celebrities’ feces this would really be up your ally … if it were true. A British website reports that Pete Doherty is selling his old heroin implant on eBay. “I will give the money to pay back those who paid for my rehab,” the always benevolent singer supposedly wrote as part of the eBay listing, adding, “the rest will go to help some of my friends who are still users.” Normally we would dismiss this as complete lunacy … but we put nothing past Pete. The reader who can prove its validity gets a deluxe reissue of Depeche Mode’s Music for the Masses.
In related Pete-may-be-sober-but-he’s-still-crazy news, it seems the singer can’t get to Ibiza to play his twice-rescheduled show. The singer was on his way to Spain to perform a make-up date when he discovered that his passport was expired. A quick application for a temporary one was rejected, reportedly because Pete submitted unacceptable photos, whatever that means.

Hey is this really the best use of your time? Slagging an artist who despite a lot of problems makes good music and is trying to better himself? I much preferred your review of the Dirty Pretty Things show, I suppose Carl’s the good one? You build them or knock them down…
