The Times Have A-Changed, Pt. XXMXLCCVII: Bob Dylan on MySpace

Bob Dylan’s MySpace page raises many questions. Does Bob know it exists? Does Bob even use the Internet? Are Journey and Living Colour really his friends? Whatever the case, it’s a blessing to view such messages to him as “Hey man I dought [sic] you ever read this but what the hell thanks for the add” and “The events of September 11th do not add up….Something very fowl is afoot.” In other Dylan news, it looks like he’s hitting the road in the states again this fall. A minor league ballpark tour kicks off in Comstock Park Michigan tomorrow, but he appears to be hitting arenas after that according to this Ticketmaster page.

I don’t see Bob Dylan checking his MySpace account for new messages and comments. Jakob Dylan, maybe. Bob Dylan, not so much.

There is one MySpace Bob Dylan page that probaby is run by Sony
other than that,very doubtful…

The only thing that’s a bummer about his myspace is that he only has clips of his songs on there instead of full ones. I don’t think he knows about it though. No one else is allowed to post his music on there besides that myspace. I don’t think (well, I hope) Bob Dylan wouldn’t be that anal and protective over his music…
