A new study suggests that teenagers who listen to sexually explicit music are more likely to have sex at a younger age than their peers who listen to clean music. Steve Martino, the lead author of the study, says: “Exposure to lots of sexually degrading music gives them a specific message about sex. Boys learn they should be relentless in pursuit of women and girls learn to view themselves as sex objects.” Hey Steve, did you ever think that maybe the teenagers that listen to R.Kelly and Lil’ Kim are already more likely to be doing the nasty than their classmates listening to the High School Musical soundtrack?
