  • My Chem ticket holders get psyched, the band is planning to test out new material on the road in the next few weeks.
  • Oasis announce they’re releasing an 18-track greatest hits record later this fall. British fans bicker over which tracks should be included.
  • The NME reports that Thom Yorke has called for Prime MinisterTony Blair’s resignation.
  • As you may know, the Mars Volta’s drummer has left the band. No idea why.

Remember the Old Days when Izzy used to sing a bunch of Stones covers when Axl couldn’t make it? That’s what happens when you’re the first to go solo! Axl woulda let Tommy Stinson sing before Izzy had a chance.
But Sebastion’s a Good Guy. Wonder if he’ll ever get a chance to marry Pamela?

Drummer leaves band because they suck…just a guess. In other news, RS whipping-boy Pitchfork recently threw a pretty kick-ass party. Funny, but I remember people calling that whole movement “more about vegan fashion” than music in last week’s indie vs. emo discussion. Looks like the kids disagree…
