Directive: Listen to Sleater-Kinney Tonight on NPR

8/1/06, 5:40 pm EST

Sleater-KinneyAbsurdly awesome Olympia rockers Sleater-Kinney are on tour, performing a series of shows that likely mark the end of their career together. Tonight they are at Washington, D.C.’s 9:30 Club and NPR is broadcasting their performance. The show should begin around 10 this evening so stock up on beer, turn off your AC, and pretend you’re there.

Update: As many of you know, the D.C. show was cancelled and rescheduled for Thursay, August 3rd.

I wouldn’t listen to NPR if John Bonham rose up from the grave to jam with Led Zeppelin on it.

Due to an electrical problem, this concert has been moved to Thursday, 8/3. NPR will be streaming it live that night.

You’re missing out, Lobsters.

And a spoken like a real scholar, Lobsters. Why listen to NPR when you can only hear the new Killers track on Clear Channel…crap.
