American paranoia has us all freaked out! A friend of mine who was caught with a joint 25 years ago (and charged) has not been allowed in the US since 9/11. The U.S. now considers him a criminal and a threat!

It should work both ways. US stops criminals like ‘weed smokers’ from going south, and Canada stops criminals like ‘Wal-mart’ from coming north.

The American government and law enforcement agencies have lost all sense of reality and the paranoia is turning you into more of a police state every day. Are you even remotely aware what the rest of the world thinks of America? Sad.

So this makes the fact the band LIED to the American government okay? If they hadn’t lied, the issue wouldn’t have been brought up!

oh god, when will all this American ridiculousness end? Everybody down there seems to talk about change and being upset, but why doesn’t anything ever get done??

It’s a sign of the times. Just don’t lie to Border patrol. I thought everyone knew that. And that guy from Canada saying that we never get sh*t done!?!? Hilarious. This coming from canada.

Lying to the border guards was a stupid thing to do, but if, like me they’ve previously experienced the dehumanizing humiliation that these guys dish out (and I told the truth!), I don’t blame them. I hardly expect some unknown Canadian band to be a threat to your national security. What’s next? Pam Anderson’s boobs are registered as a deadly weapon? (Come to think of it…)

It’s too bad your President and his government has brainwashed the people of America into extreme fear and paranoia. It’s so bad that, Canadians are considered threatening. Now that shows you the Bush campaign is good at something, even if it’s lying.

It’s called working illegally in the U.S. and taking jobs away from similarly mediocre American bands. If only they coulda caught Neil Young or Joni Mitchell so many protest songs ago.
