They all come around in the end: Today Metallica announced that their entire catalogue is available on iTunes. Bonus: The online versions of the band’s first four albums will include previously unreleased live tracks. The band’s site reads : “We chose these four because, unlike the more recent releases, we were only capable of writing 8-9 songs for each of these albums!” Vaguely funny!

The phrases washed up, and no longer relavent pop into my head. Perhaps if they didnt attack their fanbase with the Napster fiasco, or would turn out music that isnt dreck perhaps people would give a damn. I may not be the majority when it comes to feeling this way, but I suspect I do represent a large percentag of ex-fans.

Too little, too late! I knew that they would come around eventually! Hell, Madonna did it so it was just a matter of time before Lars and the boys did it too. Trouble is, Metallica have not put out a good album since the Black album!

Once Cliff died, it was all downhill….quickly.

Loved Napster – never really had much use for those stuck up bastards in Metallica. Grub muthas!! Got enough money yet?

You people are crazy.Metallica’s
catalog is already on Napster and Yahoo music. They aren’t giving
in to anything. Who cares if Lars
didn’t want his music to be
downloaded. It was seven years
ago, get over it people.

People give me a freakin’ break! If Metallica didn’t bring down the original Napster, someone else would have. So just get over it!
Sure the albums since Black has gone downhill, but we can still enjoy the classics though, huh? The fact they added bonus tracks to each of the original 4 albums is a great idea. Those who don’t like it, don’t buy it!
Jman | 7/29/2006, 7:22 pm EST
Original Bonus tracks GOOD! St. Anger BAD!
Jman | 7/29/2006, 7:25 pm EST
By the way…at least they weren’t lame enough to sign a bass player on some reality show – PEACE!
Caravella | 7/30/2006, 8:15 am EST
