los lonely boys

  • Los Lonely Boys dude is officially famous. He was arrested and jailed for assault, then his victim/fiancee claims via publicist that it’s all a misunderstanding.
  • Sift through the indulgent, nonsensical use of metaphor in this “piece” and you’ll find the track list for the new Decemberists album, The Crane Wife.
  • The Streets are releasing a 20-minute-long video comprised of footage shot by fans, which inspired the track in the first place, which is all being released in honor of MTV’s 25th birthday. What? Yeah.
  • Duh. The Stones are the biggest/richest/most successful rock band in the world. The Bigger Bang tour reported $147.3 million in grosses between November and May.
  • Our favorite rock poets who vaguely play instruments, The Hold Steady, will release the perfectly titled Boys and Girls in America, on October 3rd.
  • According to MTV, Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus “would like you to know that everything you’ve heard regarding Plus-44 is wrong.” If you know/care what this means go here.
