Thursday News: Matisyahu, Bottle Rockets, Gnarls Barkley

Hasidic rapper Matisyahu is really milking his fifteen minutes. He hits the road with Polyphonic Spree and Gomez beginning in September.

Read an account of the Bottle Rockets triumphant (in their own minds, maybe) return to the stage at Los Angeles’ Knitting Factory.

It was only a matter of time. Some Stereogum reader has sent in clips of his one man a cappella group, Indieblockedappella, who cover, yes that’s right, indie rock songs done a cappella style. Wow.

We can’t decide if these Gnarls Biggie mash-ups are exciting and cool or just kinda ‘eh’. Opinions? [BrooklynVegan]

DMX vs Matisyahu.I think DMX would tear out his braids,and make Matisyahu scream like a little girl.
