That’s a harsh genarlization to say that all people that listen to icp acts that way. My boyfriend and I both have really good paying jobs (he’s going to be an electrician, as a matter of fact) and his unlce that owns his own business in three different states loves them. Sure their music talks about killing people and things like that, but you have to be a fan to unstand the message behind it. Of course people are going to take it the wrong way and do stupid things, 3/4 of the population is retarded. I just went to a show last night and it was the biggest family reunion I’ve ever been to and I’m not related to any of them. It’s about belonging to something when the rest of the world has turned their backs on you, people like the one that wrote this article and who ever the jackass was that said we’re all meth users. I am a huge fan of ICP, Jumpsteady, Twiztid, ABK, Esham, Dark Lotus, the Rydas, and the rest of the family. It is true they do have quite a bit of misguided fans but that doesn’t make them at fault. Crazies will be crazies regardless. I am 23, I went through college, I got a great paying job in the telecommunications industry, I drive a great car, I am married and living on a horse farm. I do not do drugs or drink at all. To make assumptions of ICP fans is ignorant. I am not a violent person. I enjoy their music, every song is full of imagery. Well, no, for several reason.
A) Economically, you limit your fan base.
B) Publicly, you shut yourself off from any person with the ability to form coherent thought.
C) Publicly, you let everyone know how irrational you are.

I understand that not everyone that listens to ICP is moron that wants to rape and beat people up with paint on their face. “they are all meth using nobodies.” Honestly, this is exactly why I’m wrting my mid-term paper on this.. First of all, not all Juggalos and Juggalettes are white, I’m not. I don’t do drugs and I’m currently a senior in high school, and I wil be attending college this upcoming fall. All this really is is labeling a large amount of people based on a few incidents that happened. Yes, of course I realize that the incidents are serious but that doesn’t mean every juggalo or juggalette you meet is going to chop your head off.. Being sterotypical of them might cause some of them to think over the matter though.. Everyone has a choice, and I refuse to believe that music is going to make you act violently.
