Axl Rose Pleads Chivalry in Biting Incident

6/29/06, 11:55 am EST

Axl Rose released a statement in which he addresses the biting incident that landed him in jail in Sweden two days ago. “We had a great gig in Stockholm and I am not going to let this incident spoil that,” Rose said in the statement. “My assistant Beta and I were talking in the lobby of the hotel when security started to give us a hard time. My only concern was to make sure she was OK.” The takeaway: Cads withdraw meekly; gentleman bite.

Axl Rose certainly is gentlemanlike. His music is progressive and forward thinking, with a voice for change, women’s rights, and ending poverty. Or he sings about nothing at all. And bites people.
Best rock star ever.

The whole media frenzy on this inncident got blown out of proportion! Bad plublicity is good plublicity, and on that note, the worlds greatest band is here to stay! Hopefully when the new album drops, it will draw an end to all the many “poser” groups that we are being forced to listen to, day in and day out! GnR will never die!
