The real problem here is that he made the same mistake that Diamond Dave did with Van Halen and mistook himself for THE TALENT, and went fumbling through the rest of his sorry ass career unable to recreate that success because he had no clue what got him there or how to keep it going. After 13 years of being a studio rat and little to show for it, he comes out of his hole with his long awaited return and ends up breaking things and biting people like a 2 year old.
