Matisyahu was livin’ zaftig at the Bonnaroo music festival in Manchester, Tennessee over the weekend. The Hasidic reggae singer’s guest appearance on stage with Trey Anastasio at last year’s festival helped make him a star. This year, he brought his b-boychicks back with him to take in the music – and the free Bud Lights backstage. “We’ve been here the last two or three days, me and my friends, just being part of the scene,” Matisyahu said backstage, where he loudly sang a blessing over a bottle of water (”This festival is now blessed,” he said afterward). “We’re meeting different musicians, getting to talk to people and hear different bands – that’s really the beautiful thing about these festivals.” Challah!
