Krist Novoselic once claimed he knew Nirvana really made it big when Weird Al Yankovic parodied one of their songs. Today, James Blunt got to know that feeling when Yankovic released a parody of Blunt’s it-just-won’t-die smash “You’re Beautiful” entitled “You’re Pitiful” as a free download. “Pitiful” contains such lyrical nuggets as, “You never had a date you couldn’t inflate and you smell repulsive too” and “You’re half undressed, eating chips off your chest while you’re playing Halo 2.” According to his website, Al has completed ten songs for his forthcoming album.
