I thought it was the best movie I have ever seen in my whole
life and I sawl a lot of movies in my life.I love the part when
Jonny Depp Kissed Keira Knightly.I think Jonny Depp is a grate
actor even thoue he doesn't take it very seriously! I also think
Orlando Bloom is a grate actor also. But my two favorit actors
in this sequel and the last were Jonny Depp,and Keira
Knightly.I really like Jonny Depp I would love to meet him he
is very good looking well at lest i think so and I just love the
movie Pirates of the Caribbean:Dead Man's Chest....
I can't wait in tell the thired sequel comes out. Ohh i almist
forgot to ask howw do find all of these people to play the rolls
of carnavoles???? Well I am out and Rrrrrr Eeee Matey

I am absolutely in love with this movie! I love everything about Pirates of the Caribbean. I was about to kill the character Elizabeth in it because not only did she leave Jack Sparrow on the ship to die but also because she got to kiss him!! Other than that, the cliff hanger part leaves me wanting more and more. I thought it was very easy to understand and i loved all the humor in it. I cant wait to see the next one and see the return of my favorite character Jack Sparrow!!

This movie has amazing computer graphics just like the first one. It has a good story line and a MAJOR cliff hanger right at the end that would drive anyone nuts.

I was a disappointed with "Dead Man's Chest", I don't think the story was as well written as "The Cure of the Black Pearl". I am big Depp fan, I was looking forward to the return of Captain Jack Sparrow. The story was hard to follow, with all the pirate lingo and drawn out in parts, making the movie to long. The special effects and action scenes helped keep me awake. It was good to see so many of the original characters return, and I hope to see them in the third!

I though that this movie was a good sequel compared to others I have seen. It may have been a bit long, but it was worth it in the end. I mean it isnt that slow getting started off at the begining, and I dont think i had to think about the first one that much at all. The plot is similar, but not the same. I enjoyed it, the action was great, and i understood the dialouge for the most part. I cant wait for the third.

I have to agree with a lot of the comments here. I thought the first half of the film was choppy and there was a lot of exposition, which made it feel a little long. BUT, it's the last hour that makes up for everything. The action is thrilling and the story kicks into high gear, and it does something that none of the other blockbusters have done this year, it has you leaving the theater feeling entertained and satisfied. And it makes you want to see the next film to see how it's all going to wrap up. I've been disappointed by so many films over the last few years, that it's just refreshing to see a movie that was entertaining and satisfying. It was also nice to see all the characters evolve a little in this sequel. I can't wait for the final chapter next summer!

Here's why I give it 4 stars. Not because it was the best movie ever or even one of the best most recent movies; but simply because, as I sat watching it, I found myself completely enjoying the experience. The thoughts in my head went something like this: Okay, this is obviously far-fetched, a bit corny at times, but I sure did like that scene, and, hey, that was funny, and, whoa, how cool was that? It was kind of like being at a magic show. Sure, you've seen some of the tricks befor but, man, you're just glad to be there and be entertained. Depp, as many have stated, is phenomenal - his character is so unique, you can't keep your eyes off his performance. He pulls off a great feat - making a lying, selfish scoundrel likeable (and even shows a "softer" side in this movie). Sure, there were some slow parts; and, yes, some of the dialogue seemed inaudible (I assume that's because it was "pirate talk"), but the plot really isn't as complicated as some make it out to be (just focus on the main points and you'll be fine). Most of all, sit back and enjoy. This is one of those movies where scrutiny is pointless. Enjoy your popcorn, enjoy the surround sound... take it all in, and you just might find yourself saying: "How cool is this?"

POC2 Was absolutely amazing. It was a bit long, but you have to
consider that there are multiple plots going on. All of these
"confusing" characters and stories are obviously leading up to
something big. What is it? I dunno. There's no book. But the
characters were all brilliant and the locations used for shooting
were stunning. I think Disney has upped their movie standards a
notch with the Pirates of the Caribbean movies.
