2 stars? C'mon guys, wake up. Usually when a group releases an album, there may be 1 or 2 songs that are actually decent. Godsmack delivers explosive energy on each of their songs on this album. Every song is perfect in its own way. Honestly, I believe you need to redo your way of thinking on this album. Listen to every song again, and rethink ur star rating.

I agree with you for the two stars. The new album just does not have the pop like the other three. I am a big fan and have seen godsmack live four times. The album is good but not like the other three.

I believe Rolling TOne is short changing Godsmack, The last few years I didn't really care for godsmack, but When i decide tot buy there self titled album i loved it then i bought awake and faceless and still was not dissappointed. Then ther enew album IV came out and i would have to say its almost here best album,
The thing is no one should really listen to rollingstone the reason why is about a few years ago the had 100 greatest guitar players and it wasn't bad in til lyou got in to the top 30 where there some guitar players that should have been there mainly number 3 Kurt Cobain Kurt Cobain is not a Great guitar player he shouldn't be in the line up.
Back to godsmack go out and buy the album its a great cd 4 stars only a alice in chaisn album is 5 maybe soundgarden

A 2 Star rating, were you stoned when u wrote that review? Great album, once again Godsmack gives us an album that can be listened straight through to the first track to the last. Hey Rolling Stone, pull your head outta your ass and praise some "real" musical talent for once. Just go see one of their concerts and maybe you'll see what I mean. Honestly, I liked the Godsmack half of the Metallica Tour best. Credit to Godsmack for changing it up this time around and nailing it! Rolling Stone, go kiss some more Pop and R&B ass! What the ppl say is what matters, and all their reviews are 4 to 5 stars...Excellent Job Godsmack!
Couldnt have said it any better.

I personally LOVE the new album. And, I think RS review is quite harsh to say the least. I seen Godsmack's acoustic show a few years back and at the end they played some blue's riffs that were out of this world. Glad they included some of that on their new CD. Now the next question .. when are they touring? I need my fix!
