What is with the bad reviews Im reading. This is a fine record.I have to give Jon and the boys alot of credit. They are maturing with there music.Well crafted songs with lyrics that mean something.I would not call this BonJovi's "country" record. This is a good rock album with some country influence.Whats wrong with that? The duet with Leanne Rhimes [Till we aint strangers anymore]is destin to become a classic. From "lost Highway" to "I love this town" "Make a Memory"...The current single getting airplay on VH1 And CMT.The mood of the video is very fitting for the song. The heartache of lost love and the desire to recapture that moment in time is the theme.Any fan of BonJovi will definetly appreciate."lost Highway".

If you are a diehard BonJovi fan and afraid to buy this "country" album don't be a fool. The country twists on this album are very mild and it plays more like the rock albums we expect from BonJovi. It has GREAT BonJovi songs, and believe me I'm no great fan of country music. It isn't a "This Left Feels Right" departure(thank God!) The bonus track on the Target CD version- "Walk Like a Man" is a superb song and I have to wonder why they made this a bonus track as it deserves to be on the actual album. Releasing the most boring song on the album as a single doesn't make sense either. When it comes right down to it though, I would highly recommend this to any BonJovi fan out there.

Ahh yes, Bon Jovi, the Madonna of rock. Lets "re-invent" ourselves because that's where the money is. Give me a break. This is four guys from NJ...what the fuck do they know about country music? I'll tell you what they know about it...they know that any idiot with a Dale Earnhart sticker will buy their slop if they put enough twang in it. However, people who know better will stay away from this stinker...

Bon Jovi didn't sell out to country. I was worried it was more country untill I listened to it. The boys arent 20 anymore. I love the album. Its a softer side of the hair band from NJ.

I've read all the comments people had written and I found them some interesting and others not so much, but the truth is that if you follow a band's growth as musicians, you can tell without feeling bad, whether they are doing music good or not. for me, that`s why they are after 20 years, still producing excellent songs!!!

They say Bon Jovi has gone country. I wouldn't say completely country. It kind of reminds me of the Eagles in a way. Sometimes they sound like rock and other times a bit country. I gave this album 4 stars. I enjoyed the small transition to country. I hear more rock than country tho. You get the same fantastic harmonizing from Richie and Jon and you still have the same stories that they've had since the start. Great album.

I gave this album just as much talent Bon Jovi and the other guys have in this band. He makes me sick, grow up and stop being a rip off verison of the Rolling Stones. God, can't anybody come up with something new and at least different.

Jon sings fine, it's not unpleasant, and Richie throws in some much need excitement occasionally, but this is not so much Lost Highway as middle of the road. Don't put this CD too close to Keith Urban - it's illegal in some states. A bit repetitive and eventually boring.
