What TAI did in this album was extremely different from what their last album showed and it worked for them. I applaud them for breaking out of the genre they set for themselves with 'We're Almost Here'which is something that alot of bands associated with them won't do. I don't see FOB trying anything new! The music was great!

I love this CD. It is more retro than other bands. and personally i like retro. I like the 80's theme that they seem to follow. The songs are easy to under stand listining wise. also, i feel that they took a step that other bands are afraid to take. TAI is awesomely artistic, and i can feel their emotions. i give theis cd 5stars

This album has a very different sound from their last album "Almost Here". When you first listen you say to yourself what the hell is this but after a few listens you find out how special this band really is. I wouldn't say FOB is a horrible band but I would say Academy is makes better music. William really shows off his voice in this album and the lyrics aren't bad. The best songs on this album are "Same Blood","Lax to O'Hare","Everything We Had" and "Seed".

First off, i think fall out boy are complete diva's who can't make decent music to save thier lives. So it's actually quite suprising that i love the academy is... No, this album does not have thier catchiest tunes apart from we've got a big mess and Lax To O'Hare; which does sound a bit too panic!-y. But it does make great listening and they do deserve 5 stars. The fact that people class them as emo is quite debatable.. i mean, how? Just because they are associated with fall out boy, panic! at the disco and guys like gym class heroes (who are barely even rock let alone emo). But aye. Its good music and that review was a bit harsh. I havn't forgotten erm, that song...

does CHRISTIAN HOARD have no taste in music whatsoever?
for a start lets make one thing clear the fact that TAI have connections with FOB has nothing to do with the quality production of this album - they dont sound anything alike so there is really no validated reason for mentioning that.
how many times have you listened to the album MR HOARD, because to describe it as forgettable is practiclly a crime.
and finally for anyone to criticise the lyrics.....im actully dumbfounded that you have to be quite honest.
my only complaint of the album is that there isnt another 11 tracks!
seriously if you are into this sort of music at all buy it is an amazing album

THE ACADEMY IS... HAVE MADE IT
5*
