Extras are scarce on this DVD. Hell, there's only a trailer. But finally, after suffering with a cropped, washed-out video, we get to see Nicolas Roeg's tension-filled 1973 classic -- about a marriage decaying in decaying Venice -- spread its toxic bloom in widescreen. Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland (rumor has it their sex scene was for real) do wonders.

And that dwarf in a red raincoat will fry your nerves. Don't rent it, own it.
