When Miramax honcho Harvey Weinstein buys Troy Duffy's screenplay The Boondock Saints, the young bartender is bound for glory. But this doesn't account for the first-time director's megalomania and lack of people skills. Filmed by Duffy's friends Mark Brian Smith and Tony Montana, this unflinching depiction of a would-be Tarantino turning himself into chopped liver includes an appearance by Mark Wahlberg, initially so smitten with Duffy that he jokes, "I don't know if you should film me blowing him."
