Together, the two Kill Bill films play like a mini storage vault stuffed full of Quentin Tarantino's genre obsessions. In Vol. 2, Tarantino opens the boxes marked "horror," "spaghetti western," "female exploitation film" and "kung fu." Since narrative coherence is not exactly the movie's strong suit, DVD is the ideal format for Tarantino's cut-and-waste gorefest. Think of the disc as divided up into album tracks, not scenes -- and you can play your favorite over and over. Ours is Uma Thurman and Daryl Hannah's trailer-trashing battle royal.
