John Lennon - Lennon Legend

RS: Not Rated

More information from

2004 would have been John Lennon's "When I'm 64," which adds poignance to the home-movie footage all over Lennon Legend. The DVD takes twenty hits -- such as "Working Class Hero," "Love," "Stand By Me" -- and turns them into quasi-videos, with intimate clips of John and Yoko, playing like kids in Central Park, strumming guitar in the garden and getting roughed up by cops. Best moment: "Instant Karma!" where John wails at the piano while Yoko just sits in front of her microphone, knitting.
