While Spike Jonze is known for his great conceptual videos, this set shows that he doesn't need to rely on gimmicks. The Beastie Boys' "Sure Shot," which finds a visual equivalent to turntable scratching, is almost as joyous as their cop-show parody "Sabotage," and the single-take surrealism of Weezer's "Undone (The Sweater Song)" is funnier than the justly celebrated "Buddy Holly." Extra credit: The audio commentary is not by the inarticulate Jonze but by artists such as the Beasties, Weezer, P. Diddy and Christopher Walken.
