Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson can carry a gat and a tune, but he can't carry a movie. Playing Marcus, a thug turned prisoner turned rapper who sees the MTV logo when his life flashes before his eyes, Fiddy and his jaw look as locked-up as his character. Terrence Howard is good as a fellow con, but this is no Hustle and Flow. In fact, by comparison, Jim Sheridan's clunky direction makes the Fat Boys' Disorderlies look like Fellini.
