The question "Who's your daddy?" has never been posed quite like this. When small-town diner owner Tom Stall (Viggo Mortensen) foils a robbery, the publicity sends his past rushing back to smack him and his family around. Like all of director David Cronenberg's thrillers, this is both horrifying and hammy, but Maria Bello steals the testosterone showdown by revealing who really wears the pants in the family. Or the cheerleading outfit, if need be.
