In front of adoring masses at 2004's Benicassim Festival, Reed charges into a performance gilded with hits. A cello infuses the Velvet Underground classic "Venus in Furs" with its brooding drone, Reed goes full-on feedback freak on "Romeo Had Juliette," and "Perfect Day" is near-perfect. But in awkward PC revisionism, Reed omits the word colored when describing the doot-doo-ing girls of "Walk on the Wild Side."
