ZZ Top were quintessential Eighties video stars, but these days the Reagan-era fashions, dull-witted story lines, Neanderthal sexism and clumsily edited clips look as dated as silent movies. Videos such as "Sharp Dressed Man" and "Legs" invariably featured a red hot rod full of leggy babes while the Texan trio twirled fuzzy white guitars and hawked "ZZ" key chains; then the band jumped the shark by turning the hot rod into a spaceship.
