The rivals are perfectly matched -- Hugh Jackman keeps his brow righteously furrowed, while Christian Bale is fantastically inscrutable. Plus there's a genius turn by David Bowie as Nikola Tesla. Here's a thriller that keeps you guessing right up to the end, and nowadays that's some trick.
